“I will attend the Pedagogy of the Theatre of the Oppressed conference in Minneapolis at the end of July, co-hosted by Mixed Blood Theatre. Led by Julian Boal, this hands-on training, rooted in the work of Augusto Boal and Paulo Freire, will enhance my skills in inclusive, community-based theatre. I will learn practical tools such as trauma-aware facilitation and image storytelling, which I will apply as an ArtMix Teaching Artist to promote access, creativity, and collaboration in the classroom.”
