Accessibility & Parking

At ArtMix, we want every visitor, student, and community member to feel welcomed and supported from the moment they arrive. Below you’ll find details about parking, building entry, accessibility features, and what to expect when you visit our studio and gallery.

ArtMix is a working studio with daily classes and a small staff, so we ask all visitors to schedule an appointment before arriving.
Appointments are required for:

  • Shopping in the ArtMix Gallery

  • Picking up purchased artwork

  • Meeting with staff or teaching artists

Scheduling your visit helps us ensure someone is available to greet you and provide assistance.

Appointments & Visiting ArtMix

ArtMix has free on-site parking for visitors.

  • Back Lot (Recommended): Located behind the building, accessible from 15th or 16th Street.

  • Front Street Parking: Limited street parking is available along Delaware Street near our front entrance.

Parking

We strive to make entering our building as smooth as possible for all guests.

Back Entrance (Accessible)

  • Equipped with an accessible ramp directly from the parking lot.

  • This is our most accessible and easiest route into the building.

Front Entrance

  • Located on Delaware Street.

  • Leads directly into the same main hallway as the back entrance.

No matter which entrance you use, our offices and gallery are located at Suite 148, just down the hall.

Accessible Entrances

For the safety of our students, artists, and staff, our building remains locked.

Here’s what to expect when you arrive:

  1. Look for the call box located to the side of each door.

  2. Press the ArtMix call button.

  3. Stand in front of the camera so our staff can see you.

  4. You’ll hear a loud click when the door unlocks.

    • (The camera may take a moment to load on our end—please be patient!)

If you need assistance entering or carry materials with you, let us know in advance and our team will be happy to help.

Building Entry & Security

ArtMix is located on the main floor in Suite 148.

  1. Whether you enter from the front or back, you’ll arrive at opposite ends of the same hallway.

  2. Our space includes studios, administrative offices, and our gallery featuring artwork created by artists of all abilities.
